Very nice collection you’ve got there,I think about 75% of my Elvis vinyl collection is first or early uk pressings in amazing condition,I handle them like you would a baby,I can’t help it I love them. Luv the show.

Great vid David, love anything to do with label variations (I'm obsessed you could say!). Would love to know more about the history regarding very early Elvis in the UK on His Masters Voice - why, distribution, who pressed them and the duration this occurred, etc. I just find it interesting and in some ways totally 'weird' as here in Australia it was always RCA but some other RCA artists were also on early HMV !

Great video Dave. Just started collecting UK pressings. For some reason Sweden is drowning in old German pressings but very few UK pressings reached us. Just so happens im expecting a Near Mint UK Elvis For Everyone first pressing in mono, with that lovely Tickle Me cover any day now.

Hi Dave nice video mate ,those small oranges are difficult to get now a don’t see them at all at record fairs ,a think the small black RCA dots are not easy to get as well ,nice collection there ,is there UK pressing your still after ,would you know what was the rarest small orange am thinking maybe one of the mid 60s soundtracks ,a could be wrong on that ,a wonder Dave if there’s Japanese collectors who in Japan who crave UK pressing as you and me ,but on a smaller scale crave Japanese pressing,and also do you see many UK pressing in Japan are they readily available or do you need to know where to go,great piece ,take care ,tony 🎸🎶🎹💃

Hi Tony. I'm not sure what rarest small orange label is. Maybe Flaming Star & Summer Kisses? That's one I'd like to find. There aren't many Japanese collectors of UK releases, judging by the number of British LPs here. I've found a few nice ones here but the vast majority I've bought from UK sellers. There's a dealer in Osaka who always has a nice selection of UK Elvis but otherwise they just turn up one or two at a time here and there. Cheers, Tony.

Hey 👋 David Great interesting video.... I have ever Red Spot apart from .... Pot Luck Something for everybody! Both really hard to get hold of ! And very expensive if you do happen to find a copy 😕 Do you or anyone know why .. Girls Girls Girls wasn't released on a Red Spot??? Cheers David 🥂

Just checked my two UK copies of Pot Luck. No red spot but one each of the silver spot labels. As for Girls! Girls! Girls!, the only thing I can think of is that they may have printed so many labels that they get through to the end of the '60s without needing a red spot version. After the success of Blue Hawaii, they may have overestimated how many copies it would sell. Cheers, Paul.

I think the maroon ones came first. You should see my collection of UK Elvis' Golden Records LPs 😅 There's a reason I didn't include them in this video - I'll be doing a separate video on them at some point.
