An excellent video of a father & son having quality time together, out on an excellent boat in one of the UK's most unsung angling spots. Not great fishing this day but that doesn't matter at all, a good catch would have been a bonus and, I am sure, if they had really put their minds to it they could have caught more but why spoil a lovely day on the water, just to catch more. I am speaking as a keen angler who likes nothing more than fishing from my own boat it's just that catching fish isn't the bee all and end all of fishing, otherwise it would be called "catching". Thanks for 27.31 minutes of enjoyment.

Get yourself some skerries sand-eels lures , same set up as your using and when your drifting drop to the bottom and wind up 20 winds and drop back down and repeat till the drift finishes , pollock will hammer them

Use small lures, like 6" Skerries eels. Same set up. Use 6-8ft trace. Drop down. Wind up 20 turn, not to fast. Drop back down and repeat.

hi just stumbled on your vid if you are fishing over a wreck get some sandeels and jig them or hit the bottom then wind up ten or so turns the drop back down were i fish we use lures and do the same as i say about sandeels we get loads of bass
