Loved the vid. Fished there on tues day and night. Was super tough. Nothing in the day but was super still and burn worthy. The evening offered 2 eels, 3 pouting and 4 mackerel at first light. Cooked the mackerel for lunch with soy, ginger spring onion. Fair play for getting the monkey off your back and carrying all that extra gear all that way!

Hello buddy, sorry to hear the beach is still fairly quiet, it needs a real good churn-up I think to improve things, but hey, at least you got a few at night & those mackerel sounded amazing, nice simple flavours…all they need 😊 I think the magic of fishing Chesil, even on the quiet days, as well as the beauty of the place, is that any moment it could throw up the unexpected fish of a lifetime that could be anything! Excellent vid! I was on the beach last week, very early morning to 2pm. Just before dawn to sunrise plenty of bream ….. then nothing. Spoke to the chap in the tackle shop and it looks like others are having a similar experience. Of course …. I’ll be back! Keep the vids coming, I do like your ‘catch and cook’ style 😜

Hi Gary, totally agree buddy, I think early morning is the best time for bream (& just for being on the beach!) it’s a beautiful time of day. I’m sure you know what it’s like though when your life dictates when you can go fishing & not being able to go when you would like to go fishing! Saying that, I was surprised at the lack of action after dark… oh well there’s always next time! Thanks for watching & commenting😎👍

That curry looks absolutely delicious. I am making one. When I do bhajis I reduce some Fentimans Dandelion and Burdock by half then use it for dipping the bhajis. Lovely.

Believe it or not, I don’t work in a kitchen these days, I just prance about in shirt & trousers trying to look busy!😂 seriously though, there are many hats worn as a hotel manager, and it might be interesting to watch, but this channel is taking up tons of time as it is, so it will have to sit on the back burner…cheers as always Steve 😎👍
