I'm sure this bit of the M6 has the furthest carriageway split of any motorway in the UK, the part by the Gunnerkeld Stone Circle. And one part of Sleagill had an overpass while the other has an underpass.

I believe you’re right, yes. The section past Shap with the carriageway split is one of my favourite sections of the M6, always a pleasure to drive :)

@@cxyroads Yes that’s right I reckon it’s a better view heading northbound as well and Tebay services northbound opened on the same day as my birthday

That’s nice! I’ve stopped at Tebay quite a lot of times before. And I agree - the view is best heading northbound, though southbound as in the video it’s still brilliant
