It means he’ll cancel your current application. If you’ve completed your biometric, you’ll lose the money but you can apply again using a fastracked service if available. Should get your visas faster in that case.

Hey Rajal, write to the university. Tell them that you are an international student and the visa processing is taking time. In most cases universities either give an extension or an option to start course online from India and join the university later

You get a message from vfs that the pricess is complete, but does not tell you if it was successful or not. You can only know after receiving the envelope in hand. There will be a letter in it as well as your passport. Mine said successful and passport had a visa sticker on it..all in 8 days!

Hello Pandia , you can expedite your application if they have taken longer then the standard process timeline to process your application, you will have to pay about £3 to do this .. you can find this on the home office website

@@parvathymnair9904 Hey Parvathy, you did the right thing by mentioning your rejection. While you file for a visa, any kind of previous rejections, travel abroad needs to be mentioned in the application. Embassies take your passport and biometrics so they would have all these records with them and in case you donot mention it, it may seem like you were dishonest with them. So good that you mentioned it. Also UK as a country accepts previous visa rejections and your prior visa rejections doesn't really affect your current visa status unless the visa has been rejected because of fake or ingenuine documents or funds. Hope this helps.

Hi Peyre, like you’ve seen from the comments, there’s no guarantee. It can be 3 weeks, it can also be 24 weeks. It’s all up in the air now.
