If i can make a suggestion. For that cutoff piece make a mold out of putty or clay for a handle. Since the cutoff has a hole it will be a solid hold in epoxy. Insert the cutoff into the mold up to the edge then inject epoxy into the back of the mold. I would recommend using dye or food coloring for the epoxy mix to get your desired aesthetic. Then just use sandpaper to fine tune and polish your handle. Really quick and easy project.

My tramontina bolo machete is both illegal and legal by these new rules. Can’t even own them. Okay. What’s their definition of a ninja foot spike- a metal or solid bar or plate that has spikes and can be secured to your foot. That’s exactly what crampons and mini ice spikes are which you can buy in decathlon. 😂😂😂 Also my tiny spiderco ladybug is illegal to carry because it locks. Question. (Before self vetting my collection)...when referencing '2 sharp points' on/in the blade, is that 'points' in the sense of the point at the tip of a knife/sword OR points as in '2 sharp LOCATIONS on a blade's? (might sound daft, but point as in tip OR point as in location point = MASSIVE difference maker
@timbo66Ай бұрын
Two sharp locations, I believe, although it`s a bit unclear. I took the info from Dorset police website, the Home Office may be clearer. Best play it safe, it`ll take a court case - around £50k - to decide....!

@@timbo66 trouble is, by definition, the cutting edge would be 1, the tip of the blade 2..surely then, by that definition a blade with cutting edges on both sides..that would make 3..and thus illegal. That doesn't make any sense. Thank you for your assistance, but the issue was with the whole 'no more than 2 sharp POINTS' . If the point was defined as..well, a an actual sharp point (ie: the tip of a sword), then standard strait sword, with no frills would then have only 1 sharp point. Seethe conundrum...point as in a physical sharp point vs point, as in 'a location points'. With the end results being wildly different

Knife makers being curved on fantasy designs an obscure ethnic blade etc. The bigger danger is the chilling effect it has on vendors.

The only real data we have is from Scotland, and it was in 2011 I believe. I don't think there's any reason to think things would have changed since then though. Out of all the knives used to commit violent crimes, 94% of them were kitchen knives. That means only 6% of the knives were not kitchen knives, and probably a tiny subset of those would have qualified as "zombie knives". I expect youtube will delete my comment if I include a link, but the report is easy to find with a Google search.
