UKDT rugby day event 2024

Gleeds colleagues recently took part in a Rugby Day event held in Peru. This event, aimed at introducing local children to the sport of rugby, was a huge success thanks to the participation of our community in Peru and other guests.
It was great to be joined by Gavin Cook, the UK Ambassador to Peru and Daniel Cino, President of the Peruvian Rugby Federation. Over 70 children from the community took part, making it a memorable day of learning, fun, and sportsmanship. The event not only promoted rugby but also strengthened our bond with the VMT Legado venue and raised funds for the district's Ollas comunes.
