Enjoy Ukebox's original spin on some well known songs!
Expect the unexpected from this eclectic group who take the ukulele to new frontiers. This ensemble of 5 draws on the flawless tonal qualities of the Ukulele with a completely unique sound of their own. Along with some questionable oddities thrown in for good measure, the mixture of strong harmonies and strapping bass lines prove an aural and visual pleasure of original material not to be missed!
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

I could see some percussion maybe but no, NO drums. I watched a bluegrass band some years ago where the stand up bass was carrying more than half the rhythm and you wouldn't miss the drums at all. I think between the bass and banjolele these guys have the bases covered.

These guys remind me of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain (minus the women). They are a lot of fun. The ukulele can be as easy or hard to play as you want, depending on the level of musicianship you're going for, and these guys are pretty doggone good. Love the kazoo (:-)

Steve W cause It's so small. I guess most see it as a child's introduction to music most don't think of it as a "real" instrument, whichbis sad. If any player takes the tine to learn more than just the basic major and minor chords, like their 6ths, 7ths, and 8ths it can be a beautiful instrument.

steve w. childish because men LOVE women and don't go on about getting rid of them like a twelve year old boy. that's all that's childish about them.
