The paint job came out so nice. I pait on huge wooden chests but never tried a musical instrument. Sad that it's out of tune. :( But I'm sure she will love it anyways.

I want to paint my ukelele but I dont have sand paper. If I dont sand it down will that be a problem?

If you sand it first it makes the paint adhere better to the Uke and also not chip off. I definitely recommend sanding first.

@@RavensMinis well oops, I already did it😂😂 the paint is peeling off in some areas but im going to put a coat of clear stuff (kind of like mod podge) over it and that should help it be secure

All ukes are out of tune. You may need some new tuners
