Ukulele Comparison: Martin 2 and Flight MUC-2

I am curious about neck shape. During an earlier comparison video with the Martin, you stated something along the lines of "copy the neck, copy the neck, copy the neck." How did Flight do?

Like Ohana, the neck is not copied. It’s a traditional imported neck. Only Kiwaya seems to get that part right (other than Martin).

Interesting review. The Martin had a twang missing from the Flight and better projection. But at what 4x the price? Is there a concert that more closely resembles the sound of the Martin?

I’m not certain if there will be a closer model, perhaps a Mainland Mahogany Concert or an Ohana Concert. I just don’t have a way to get those easily at the moment; I would also like to review a C1K, and have a friend that may loan me one.

i saw 2 reviews that say these are hit and miss the notes in a couple spots sound dead flat did you experience this ??thanks

the martins are always spot on .its the flight if you watch jan hassler video he shows these dead spots thanks
