At UKFlyFisher I am always pushing to be unique and in doing so it allows me to offer exciting and innovative products. Over the last few years, I have noticed two key issues when it comes to buying flies. The first issue is just how confusing buying flies can be, because of this you spend more time and money purchasing flies than you should be. You also end up with flies that you not only have no faith in, but most of them don’t even get used. The second key issue is that once you have purchased the flies, there is very little information readily available on how to fish the flies. To combat this issue, every month we will supply a free to view video that will work in conjunction with our monthly packs. This is a huge project and you would be mistaken in believing that it comes with a price tag to match. I do everything myself and because of this, I have been able to keep the price tag as low as possible without impacting on the quality of my product. At less than £10 a month this really is an affordable solution to help you improve as an angler. Allowing you to spend more time fishing and less time scrolling through pages and pages of flies to purchase.

There were 5 other anglers on the day. 2 Catch and kill tickets that were done early on and 3 other anglers that spent most of the day on the other lake.

Fish the margins. Small lures early in the day, cormorants and the like later. Failing that try something three foot under a bung

@@UkFlyFisher dever went exceptional, all of us bagged up in the first 2 hours! I caught the smallest bag though. one of the club members caught a 9lb 4oz. we went to have lunch down the road and we drove back and we saw the same people there fishing.

I know you are an amazing fisherman but a good method is is a minnow imitation at the bottom and a blood worm at the top.

@@benyerbury2483 most of my favourite flies imitate small fish. I use to love a bloodworm. Haven't used one in a while, mainly because I just haven't had the need, but certainly a must-have pattern for still water fishing.

Appreciate the feedback, this is a very old video and finding music you can legally use is a lot harder than you realise. It also muffles the horrible wind noise which would make you stop watching quicker than the music does. Thank you all the same for the view and your feedback.

to be fair it hadn't been stocked for a while and it was hammered over the weekend. Most on the day blanked, with Lwwyd hitting 4 fish for the second highest rod on the day. Yes, they have all been stocked, but as someone who fishes both stocked ponds and wild rivers, I often find the rivers easier to fish, especially for a truly wild trout who has never seen a fly or angler before.
