I’m glad you had a good holiday Caroline me and my kids (7 and 11) went to the same hotel as you and we took a private transfer it was very quick and efficient. It took us about 35-40 min. The buses can be tiring I use Jet2 a lot of holidays and use book the private transfer it’s not that much more expensive and I prefer the private c and relaxed vibe after a long flight.

How much was the uber to the airport from the hotel please?

It was about 80 euros just under but that's for 4 people and 2 large cases we had to have an xl uber

no waiter service and terrible entertainment for a 4 star hotel. the food varies when it is busy with French people far better than when there are few people there. events get cancelled too without notice. the microwaves are also good for warning up your meals if you prefer them piping hot. ps were people really in the pool in January? we went this month and it was freezing cold water! the theme restaurant is rubbish we were told it is vegetarian food only so didn't take up their invitations. 11:51 those steps are so dangerous with no hand rail 23:00 if you choose English money at the atm you will not only get a transaction charge but a bad exchange rate too! better to change money before going to Algarve as all the cash machines are scam ones, there are hardly any official bank machines 26:20 no bananas in morning is to stop you taking them on day trips its all about saving money 28:23 bolt taxis are really cheap only 3.30 euros into Armação de Pêra that's for all of you not per person

@@ChrisAisthorpe when the weather is hot the pool will be more inviting and you will warm up quicker when you get out. the hot weather could even heat the pool up.

Do they do chicken nuggets for the kids love thinking about going in april x

Hi sorry for the late reply 😅 so from what I remember they do not specifically have chicken nuggets like macdonalds chicken nuggets but they did have breaded chicken peices some nights and breaded chicken flat squares. I hope that helps x

What month did you go ? We are going at Easter and worried about the weather. We want it to be hot !!!

I'm not sure about April but I can confirm in October when we went we got a high of 23 so it wasn't hot but wasn't cold
