Seems strange to bother with a full barrier crossing on a single-track line. Very short time between activating and the train passing though, not much more than an AHB crossing.

I think it's maybe because of the road junction next to the crossing here as the reason for full barriers. The crossing is quite effectively operated here.

Not too strange since the LC is located at a major junction, and also considering this single track line doesnt operate like most in Great Britain
