It's hard to find this old level crossings and lights in Spain nowadays, it's cool to see it on video one more time!

Yeah, this is a very unique gem of a crossing showing some twin-red halogen lights which are also yellow. There are also some pretty old 'Asthom' barriers.

It's always interesting seeing foreign crossings and what they share snd have different compare to us. Spectacular video!

Thank you! I do find other countries crossings interesting in how they compare to the UKs. I much prefer filming in the UK though as I feel more comfortable and its a lot lot easier to track trains here!

@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel yep. I use Greater Anglia live departures to find trains at nearby stations, that's how I work out what time I need to arrive

I wonder why the gates take so long to go back up after the trains pass through. Also, older spelling of Alstom on the gate mechanism?
@sangen489 ай бұрын
Yep. For « Alsace-Thomson » ;)
@UKLevelCrossingsChannel9 ай бұрын
This appears to be quite an old crossing, so the crossing is not effecient or as modern as it could be. The company Alstom re-branded around 1998 so these barriers were manufactured before this time (when it was known as 'Alsthom').

After these and the Spain crossings, no-one gets to complain about sitting at the barriers at a UK crossing ever again. What on Earth was going on with the flashing (?) lights?
@UKLevelCrossingsChannel9 ай бұрын
I have no idea. It appears the relays are a bit faulty with the lights for some reason. It is quite an old crossing sort of expected I guess.
