Is there any chance you could do a video on roles you should look for when you've just graduated? I'm graduating this year and really panicking as I've no idea what jobs to be looking for in order to get experience 😭 Thank you so much, your videos are really informative & helpful!!

It really depends on the role you want to apply to! I will look to do a basic MH role however to have a tailored career plan, drop me a message on instagram where we can discuss further! :)

Hi! Thank you for all the advice in psychology careers! Just wondering if you have any advice/knowledge about how much experience you need to be considered in the PWP training program. I have a 2:1 BSC psychology degree, work as a Special Education teaching assistant currently (1 school year) and I volunteer for a MH crisis line (I also have work experience at IAPT as part of my degree). Would this be an adequate amount?

The best way to determine this is to go through the JD and PS and identify if you meet the requirements they are asking for . This can be via voluntary or paid work! Ask yourself , do I feel ready and if you then apply!

This video is really informative and helpful. I think your role as a coach is filling a much needed gap in the psychology world, do you do general sessions regarding careers in Psychology and improving CVs or do people need to have specific questions/reasons for coaching? 😊

yes! So Im a psych careers coach and I help with career planning sessions, applications, interviews and building a healthy attitude in the psych profession! Its not as simple as just applying and then getting on to training, which is why I do a lot of mindset and confidence work to help people with the practical processes too! :)
