Fact check: after Russian troops entered the Donbass a ceasefire was agreed. Russian troops then soon after moved further west breaking the Minsk Agreement. Then Russia took Crimea breaking the Minsk II agreement.

Among the signatories were also the leaders of the DPR and LPR, although these two state entities had not yet been officially recognized by the others, especially by Ukraine. And OSCE decisions can be vetoed by Russia, it is a well-known fact. In short, NATO has nothing to do with the Minsk agreement and the OSCE has always had its hands tied.

Crimea it is said by many leading geo political experts was an Autonomous Republik and the majority of us know the history of the place and the importance , it had the right to choose its own destiny - they choose to join the Russian federation , it seems people have the right to self determination under international law - it’s not the only place that’s had referendums to change their allegiance or who governs them ! Two American polls both showed clearly that the result of the referendum was correct , an overwhelming majority no longer wanted to be part of the new Ukraine under the control of the west . I personally have been to Crimea since the referendum - I saw no objection amongst the people , they seem happy with their choice , of what business is it of westerners to determine what the people of Crimea want ?
