I look forward to this everyday that it's on I like to listen to Denys also. I listen from Australia. I lost interest in a lot of the others because they don't stick to their headings that they use and it is obvious that they exaggerate so much and also usually only talk about things we already knew and usually mention the date it started and start from there, as if anybody who was interested in the war would not know what date it started.

Is this Guterres out of his mind? Him trying to be "neutral"? If he was some aid worker sent by the UN to Ukraine to hand out water or something, then maybe he could claim that he was neutral, since he was just some low level employees trying to make a living, but he is the head of the UN FFS, his job is literally to uphold and enforce the UN laws, and I'm not an expert on UN laws but I'm sure there is something written in those stuff along the lines of "Don't invade other countries", since russia is the one invading Ukraine, it's pretty clear who the aggressor, offender and violator of UN laws is, and I didn't even mention the war crimes it committed yet. If he is to be neutral as the UN boss when it can't be more obvious who is in the wrong, then why do we even need UN? We've got Switzerland for that role already, this guy is a major UN fail, considering UN on a good day is a failure, he is really pushing it to a whole new level

History seems to expect an advance. I would prefer that, as these territories are evacuated south of Zaporizhzhia would be liberated. 18 villages have been evacuated. Take the win. When the army has at least 50 attack and other helicopters, which can launch your missile. And some awesome air to air AIM missiles against inbound missiles. Mach 4 is pretty good pursuit... They could win.* Defined by territory liberated and other metrics. NATO is at an higher state of readiness in a regularly scheduled exercise.

However, another is Russia knows it cannot beat NATO in conventional war, especially now after Ukraine has drained Russian power (like super man with cyptonite) No one wins in full nuclear war. Let's say Ukraine Offensive is wildly successful and takes as much territory as they did last fall. Then what? They will still be locked in a war of attrition with an enemy that can absorb far more losses of soldiers. Even at a loss rate of 1 to 1 Ukraine eventually loses. While some amateurs claim troop numbers matter in wars. History Buffs know that many large armies over the last 3000+ years have been beaten by far smaller armies defending their homeland. Heck Thucydides Trap is a prime example of the far larger Athenians getting their Keister kicked by the smaller Spartans during the Peloponnesian War. An while the Battle of Thermopylae cost the Spartan king his life and the battle was lost, they still inflicted heavy casualties on the invading Persians which contributed to the loss of the Second Persian invasion of Greece for Persia and a victory for the Greeks.
