I just found this interview. I think it more accurately portrays Budanov. So many journalists have used lousy lighting which gives an unflattering look. The General does a good job with the flow and refrains from the wheezing speech pattern. I know it’s from actually thinking and formulating the proper reply. He’s very thoughtful and reflective before answering. I speculate that he’s worked hard to improve his interview techniques. The unnerving Death Stare is not observable. Public speaking and interviews get better with practice. I’ve had my share of screwups. Now, he needs to get rid of the deadly candy bowl. That can pack on the pounds when trapped in an office. Hiding it doesn’t work……I tried that. 😊. Stay crafty.
