Ukraine Starts Production of Artillery Ammunition in Kyiv

Ukraine is undertaking a new project that will bring its defense sector one step closer to self-reliance.
At the onset of Russian aggression in Donbas, Ukraine faced a problem that had dire consequences: a shortage of ammunition. Now, at a plant here in Kyiv, the country is developing the capacity to produce - what were previously scarce - artillery shells.

Apparently, it was struck by cruise missiles in April 28th, over a month into the war. If I had to guess, production might have restarted, but no info on that.

@Andrés Martínez Ramos Ukraine is in collaboration with another country manufacturing 152mm shells. Possibly Romania.

Wouldn't it be more practical and advantageous to package a canister sub-munition package of balls or cubes, than using current fragmentation rounds with highly variable fragment size and extreme radial dispersion? Using either pyrotechnic or late fin deployed counter-rotation measures, or perhaps a combination of the two, to bring rotation near zero before a dispersal charge delivers the canister's contents at a selectable distance AGL? I personally would think an aerial Claymore would be a decided improvement over standard frag rounds. Am I late to the show, and they're already in use? Just a passing thought I thought might be of use. I don't think the Russian infantry would cheer to be recipients of the content delivered.

Start making 155mm FFS.

They apparently have a lot of 155mm rounds for each gun they have. But they have a lot of 152mm guns they still need ammo for. Eventually they might go all 155mm but that will take awhile. For now it makes a lot more sense that any Ukrainian production (or outside production being sent to Ukraine) that could shift either way be used for 152mm.
