Nope. My dog would be kept with me no matter what. Its how you view them. Some consider them " pets ", others see them as FAMILY MEMBERS. You don't abandon family. Just shows who loves their dogs ( animals ) much more.

There are many groups, including SPCA International, that are trying to rescue all of these animals and drive them back to Poland or Germany. I hope these veterinarians will contact them, as they make several trips back and forth to rescue them and also to bring food. They also need to rescue the animals in the zoo - at least get the smaller ones out first to rescue more animals. I'm sure their life wasn't much better before Russia attacked this city.

This is also heartbreaking. We all love our domestic animals. My sweet dog is my best friend. When this tragedy began I imagined myself running away from bombs clutching him as he would shake in my arms. It was a horrid thought. This situation is awful for people and makes the very dependent pets so scared and confused. Putin is inhumane in all ways.
