Not really... Where does Putin want people right now. In jail or in a muddy trench near Zaporiszjzjzjzja? Even i would be tempted to chose war, just for the excitement of it. 10 years in prison is just.... unbearably depressing.

6 years is the MINIMUM. Murder like that, especially if they can "prove" he did it to dodge the draft, is likely to result in more prison time.

You should have asked him what he meant by "everything depends on how much support we receive from the West" because I can tell you that he has something very specific in mind that is urgently needed and our leaders are not supplying: armored vehicles (IFVs & battle tanks) and aircraft. Citizens of Western democracies should pressure our leaders to supply these things, because THAT is how we avoid escalation. If we don't give the UA what it needs to succeed on the battlefield, we will have to do the fighting for them. That's what misguided, confused timid indecisiveness produces. It is the precise opposite of prudence, not to mention that it is a callous disregard for Ukrainian lives.

Because of Putin, Russian people are being judged, as brutal or drunks…. I defend this judgement. Can not blame the people for what one man has done. Putin. The future of Russia is the young Russian people, being conscripts to fight in Ukraine, is a death sentence. Why can’t we all unite and save our planet. ??????? Don’t judge all Russian people, to be like KGB Psycho Putin. The innocent Russian people deserve better, they need our help, leave Russia with their families. Home is where your loved ones live. One can only wonder why these brave men, Putin, Lukashenko and Father Kirill does not themselves fight in the war? They are so eager to have young men sacrify their lives, but hiding in deep cellars like the cowards they are. To call them rats would be an insult to rats.

@@mso1ps4 The footage isn’t great and we don’t get a close up, but going by the gas block, magazine curvature and stock it’s an AKM. Which were made up until the late 70's, which would put them, at best, 50+ years old.

@@Icelandicmaster00 the nationalist nazis from the battalion are in prison bc hate groups membership is a serious felony. The battalion no longer exists. The Azov is a region, with a river, a valley, a sea and many businesses named after it. There is a regiment in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and it is not the battalion or its members. Meanwhile the Wagner group in Russia has swastika under a double eagle tattoos as do 36 other Russian battalions. Ukraine is not nazi, over 70% of the people, of all faiths or none, elected multiple Jewish leaders to high ranking government offices. Those voting against were mostly Russian separatists in the Donbass.

This is only accelerating the demographic decline that has, according to people like Peter Zeihan, pressured Putin into acting against Ukraine in the first place. According to him, if Russia hadn't acted now to try and bring the ancient invasion routes back under Moscow's influence, before they run out of men of military age entirely, they stood to lose the chance to do so permanently.

The war with Ukraine is about Putin&Co (trying to) destroy any liberal examples close to Russia, so that Russians don't get more funny ideas than they already have about how their own country is being run. This is a civil war that spilled over, nothing more, nothing less. *Zeihan and other "experts" stated reason for Putin wanting to leave a legacy and therefore tries to annex Ukraine is Kindergarten thinking..*
