This is precisely what happened when the Free Russian Legion attacked Belgerod and crossed the border, the first thing Russia did is launch Helicopters to engage the Russian Legion, only Ukraine anticipated this and launched hundreds of drones which confused the Russian air defences, the result is Russia shot down two of its own helicopters by error instead of the drones. The result of the situation is Russia does not dare engage drones in fear of hitting their own aviation.

It was a disappointment to the russians, because the few that were on the battlefield were wiped out almost as easily as the older, more common tanks… and it was a disappointment to the rest of the world, because when one gets destroyed, the turret isn’t tossed some 100 yards into the air like we all enjoy. Putin was bragging about a “nuclear powered missile” that russians had developed that could fly indefinitely… but a “nuclear powered missile” still needs a propulsion source, and just having a “nuclear powered missile” doesn’t mean it can fly. You would need a propulsion source and that WOULD be something that could run out. His credibility is shot. The CIA file on him must be an interesting read, the portrait of the ultimate case of inferiority complex.
