In America in the 1990s this was a important decade this was the era when white American men lost sole access to American white woman. this is when the Russian bride business became a international phenomena in the united states even though the women were Ukrainian not Russian American men were sold a false proposition that Slavic women only like western men who were white. but this was wrong most international marriages in Ukraine and Russia that is outside the former USSR are between Turkish and Arab men and Slavic women especially the Gulf Arab states when I lived in Berlin in the 2000s I lived in the western district of neokolin where there were a lot Turkish and Arab men i didn't see any Russian women with native German men but i did see lots of Russian and Ukrainian women also Romanian women with Turkish guys. why was this ? was it because they were both immigrants in a very foreign and alien place like Berlin I doubt it in the Gulf Arab states where both Russian and western men are both expats you expect them to form romantic bonds but you don't see it most Russian And Ukrainian also Serbian women are involved with Arab men both Gulf Arabs and men from Arab diaspora communities such as Egyptian Syrian Jordans and Persian Azari and Turks. in North America it is Hispanic men especially Los Angeles and Miami in new York city it is African American men not white American just as in Europe it is Middle eastern guys not European men and. the reason is I believe is that these men are dominant they dominant the public space the night clubs bars and the steers in general

i think a lot of people are just attracted to foreigners no matter the country or gender or race a Ukrainian in japan just stands out not just in terms of looks but in terms of behaviour so that will make her or him more attractive to certain people. a Japanese woman or man will also have more success in Europe compared to locals or back in japan.
@AnnDale-ie3jn5 ай бұрын
Japan is a mono culture so a Eastern European lady winning is quite odd I remember reading about a tartar girl winning miss Russia and Russians complaining saying she didn't look Slavic this was about 2013

As a Ukrainian I agree with them. All countries should have their own people representing them. We'd be upset if an African won Miss Ukraine 🤷🏼♂️

I get it BUT ... as a man, I've seen African girls more beautiful than Ukrainian girls so for me I'm simply attracted to the most beautiful girl no matter where she's from - I like ALL pretty girls - and in MOST cases I disagree with who the judges pick - edit : I think she's very pretty but I've seen more beautiful Japanese "looking" girls but I'm not a beauty pageant judge

I mean in the eye of the beholder one can measure beauty there are good reasons why Moscow and Rostov and Krasnodar and Ukrainian cities like kharkiv Odessa and Kiev are a washed with modeling scouts from the west
@mihaimotrescu5 ай бұрын
Ukrainian models are in such demand because in London, where I am located, the agency that I work for is paying Ukrainians models, on average, 5 times less than what it would normally pay for a British model. As far as I understand, these models from Ukraine are used as patches (basically the only thing we can afford). So I can tell you its not the looks! Its the price. You get what you can afford. Also, enough time has passed for me to tell you that, considering looks and standards, I haven't met a Ukrainian model that climbed up the ladder. Ooops. Since you are so keen to push them as so beautiful....

In korea many women bave all sort of costemtic surgeries to make them look more pretty which apparently is influenced by white women beauty standarders kr something like that.

I need to say - that even despite a pretty much unpleasant personal impression of "Conor Clyne" - He is really very well informed and he know things , moreover it is very pleasant find him on real rational side and thinking really rationally and not to be a woke agent. Thanks for defending the rights of whites as well. And yes being pale is a beauty standard in Japan or Korea or even in India. So ? Would you like to name all Japanese and Indians a racist because they prefer whitish look ? Who are you (telling to wokies in video) to dictate others what they should see as desirable ?
@noco72434 ай бұрын
Bot everyone in India or Japan "prefers whitish looks" and yes, if you prefer some races over others then that is by definition, "racist". Same for if you prefer darker skinned, yellow, red, or brown people. That's literally the definition.
@avitalsheva4 ай бұрын
@@noco7243 In this case , everybody is racist as everybody has preferences... literally everybody has preferences and especially in beauty standards and dating and it seems a white is better than anything else as Indian Japanese, Koreans, etc willing to be white , and i dont see any white person to want to be desperately black. Nor japanese nor indian want to be black. At least I never met anybody , but I met many which were willing to be more white

In Japan, many thought it was political, because she was an Ukranian,not Russian. Actually as she got Japanese nationality only a year before, maybe everything was staged. And the man she had an affair promoted her being in this event.By the way this event is to display Japanese beauty.
@DeputyDog-mh1yo5 ай бұрын
This topic is a bit ridiculous. Any citizen of any country, regardless of their ethnicity, can represent that country in any event, including sports events and beauty events. In the USA anyone can compete for Miss America, its not relegated only to Native Americans. 😅

I think the interview is disingenuous… If the history of Miss Japan had been explained up front, I think you may have gotten a different result. I’m the least woke person in the world, but my first impression would be, how does a non Japanese woman win Miss Japan? Once you explained her history, I’m fine with it.

I think it's none of anyone's damn business. If you're a citizen of the country you have invested yourself in loving the culture, the language and you meet the standards of the contest you deserve a chance to compete. If we want to limit to natural born citizens that's one thing and I don't agree but whatever. On the other hand if you want to segregate a contest based on what you think a country's representative should look like on skin color that's just racism and fetishizing a race instead of respecting differences
