It's two years since Russia invaded Ukraine and in that time thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have come to the UK as part of what's called Op Interflex.
Forces News' Ukraine correspondent Simon Newton has been to the south-west of England to meet the latest batch of Ukrainian troops undergoing training with the British Army.

Give me a break. Russian "meat waves" aren't even effective in Ukraine. If Russia tried that against NATO it would have no military left in a week. NATO isn't reliant on mostly ground artillery for battlefield support, it has massive and much more importantly highly effective air forces. We've already seen just how ineffective Russian integrated air defences are and as F-35s become operational in air forces all across Europe this will create a total nightmare for Russian commanders at all levels. Even nuclear as the F-35 is now rated to carry to large nuclear shapes. On a platform that would have no issue penetrating into Russian air space to any distance its fuel can take it. Russians are far more afraid of us than the other way around.

@JP-rv6hg The Russian military could be stronger than nato right now they have seen actual combat while we have been shooting fish in a barrel in the middle east. We haven’t seen the US military in an actual conventional war since the Korean war. Volunteer veterans that have fought in iraq and Afghanistan get to Ukraine and say everything they have seen is irrelevant because in Ukraine the enemy actually can shoot back unlike the AK47 cavemen. Also the monopoly over the military industrial complex is price gouging our Millitary so in a war of attrition we are totally unprepared.

Zelensky said "31,000 killed" last week, which is a ludicrous figure for a side that launched a failed 4-month long offensive last summer and has grimly tried to hold onto 3 urban areas (Mariupol, Bakhmut and Avdiivka) while losing all three. They were claiming to be inflicting casualties of 9:1 whilst on the attack and going absolutely nowhere for months, so it is clear the figures they give out are laughable propaganda. All the cheerleaders in the Western world lap it up, it's like a mass delusion.

*Global consequence of Operation Citadel 2.0 collapse* Ukraine and generally even the collective West suffered grave military and political consequences of the failure of Operation Citadel 2.0. The failure of the Ukrainian army’s offensive meant not only a strategic defeat of Kiev’s forces but also the collapse of the united West’s hybrid blitzkrieg when huge economic losses related to unprecedented sanctions and enormous deliveries of various armaments yielded no results. A trend for the West to lose its status as the ruler of the world’s destinies intensified. In turn, this triggered the process of reducing the Western civilization’s spheres of influence, considering that the BRICS association expanded to 11 countries and another 27 states applied for the organization’s membership. These negative trends for the West led to mounting destructive processes inside the countries constituting that civilization and their peoples began to realize that the course pursued by the globalist elites was pernicious for their existence. Nationally focused forces began to strengthen their positions and influence in the political spectrum of European countries and the United States. Such forces have already gained power in Hungary and Slovakia. A fierce struggle is underway in the United States between the Republicans and globalists from the Democratic Party. However, despite such a heavy defeat suffered by the Ukrainian military, the enemy is still strong enough. This is because it is the US-led united West rather than Ukraine with its armed forces that is Russia’s main enemy and Ukraine is just one of the fronts of the West’s hybrid war against Russia. The failure of the first hybrid blitzkrieg does not mean a cessation of the war against Russia. On the contrary, this implies expanding the aggression and beefing up the entire set of actions constituting hybrid warfare, including the opening of new fronts of the armed confrontation. That is why, similar to how the Soviet Army had a long way to Berlin after winning the Battle of Kursk, today Russia still has to embrace a long struggle after Kiev’s botched Operation Citadel 2.0 until the Final Victory that it will certainly win. But it has already achieved the first and truly Big Victory.

We are sharing the lessons we have learned from our conflicts, and the Ukrainians are sharing their lessons learned from theirs. The most important thing here is to get away from Soviet style tactics, even out of context training in western tactics that they can learn and adapt to their situation is an improvement. Ukraine just cannot afford soviet style meat-wave maneuvers, relying on Massive bombardments and meat-wave assaults. Realistically, with the advent of drone warfare, everybody is learning to a certain degree.
