Good, we should help as many of these men and women as we can with surgeries and recovery after trauma, wow what a horrifying thing war is, rarely does a war ever even fix a problem but obviously Ukraine had no choice in the matter I’m glad Zelenskyy is still doing well, and I hope he remains safe and my prayers go out to everyone, I love stuff like this because it gives them a somewhat normal life and freedom, and we need more people In the world like this

How can there be compromise when they were invaded? Should Ukraine have to give up land to a brutal dictator. If it was the US would you allow a foreign country keep California...or Florida? Be realistic, maybe think about how this would be if it was your country.

@wadopotato33 11 ай бұрын
@@arselenebitara1356 Exactly, because some people want to show they have empathy, but true empathy comes from being able to put yourself in another's shoes and not by pretending that you just care. It would be different if it was the US and they had relatives in California...or perhaps even lived there. Most people that are like this I find are also either fake AF, or they really just don't understand the situation fully. Utopian ideals are not pragmatic and they are rarely useful in the real world. What is useful in this situation is to stand up to Russia so they don't or can't soon repeat this atrocity. The other reader would like to comprise and placate, but that approach was already tried with Germany in WW2. It is an approach that does not work with dictators. What they understand is force. Russia got away with Georgia, Chechnya, South Ossetia, and Crimea to name a few. It is obvious that it would continue unabetted. The other reader has to understand that her idea is placation and as such would only lead to another country and another country, etc. More bloodshed, not less. In other words, she is historically naive and doesn't really understand how the world works. If she was allowed to see her dumb idea implemeted more people would die. People are dying now, but the fastest way out of this blooshed is a disabled Russia. They see themselves as an Empire, but to be an Empire you have to have other nations under your yoke. During Soviet times the Russians subjegated 180 million people and stole their wealth. It was a great evil, to everyone who did not want to be part of that evil empire, but had no choice. Ask a Polish person if they want to go back to those times. And Russia fought with the Nazis to divide Poland before they fought against the Nazis.
