Debbie your placemat turned out so cute. I use Insul-bright in my placemat, pot holders, oven mitts and other items too and it does crawl and move around. The only way that I got it to stay in place is to free motion a design on it. Of course I pin it first all over and take out the pins as I'm sewing. They I put a binding around it.
