Thank you Debbie...I'm about to start making my Garden Bunting from quirky panels i bought last year, but I can't wait for your garden projects book to come out, the Teepee looks nice on cover (im pre-ordered) lol. I'm loving your books, plenty to keep me busy through the seasons...awaiting build a Tote Bag to be delivered. Hugs & Tickles for Bobbin x Sonia

I'm just away to make some for my daughter, with Happy Birthday and their names! I would put the letters on one right side before sewing and turning! Bias tape is so useful!

I have made Bunting per your instructions but used a thin nylon fabric the kind that is used for bags etc in very bright colors and was able to actually find a bias tape in a flurecent color too. But instead of tying it I put a grommet on each end which U can just hang over a nail or something. That way I believe it lasts much longer.

Thanks Debbie, I usually cut mine in one piece and the seam is up the back but this way I can cut my pieces so much quicker😀

Is there a pattern for the bunting behind you, the one that's folded over the ribbon and buttoned down?

Can I ask what rotary cutter you use please, mine goes blunt so quickly n will only cut one or two layers of fabric ?
@JanecShannon9 жыл бұрын
Clare Parfrey Looks like she's using the OLFA 45mm Ergonomic Rotary Cutter. If you're having trouble with your rotary cutter blunting quickly, try using one of the titanium blades. You don't have to switch out the cutter entirely unless you want to. Personally I've always liked the Fiskers cutters better and they'll have titanium blades for both.

How long of bias tape do you use?
@septemberbaby09037 жыл бұрын
The length will depend on the area you're hanging it on .. measure the area, add a few inches for the ends to tie, and add a couple more for swag.

No need to topstitch if you press them.

Hello Debbie, When did you start with RedShe? Is that your new name, or working for someone else. Due to my husband's illnesses, I have not been on KZbin much, but I now notice that your previous Debbie Shore videos are no longer on my Subscribed list. If I want to go back to your older videos, I need to do a search, under your name. I was surprised to see a new studio, and no Alf.... Will he be a part of your videos on RedShed? Progress goes on, but I do miss your cozy 'home' situation, and Alf. : ( Gloria B
