What a channel. I am myself a holder of a master degree in Investment and Finance from a top notch university in the UK, will be soon working at an investment bank as a trader. Another great video!! This helps a lot to develop my trading strategy around vwap and also now around where the Algos and institutional traders trade at. Price does not move unless you have volume. The price moves more when institutional traders jump in!!! My trading system is based on piggy-backing off institutional traders.

Was looking at EURCZK - seen as though it's super volatile - and when I zoomed out on the 5min chart, it looked like an algorithm had been buying a large swathe of the chart. You could tell something was up because it was perfectly flat like a table top. Never seen anything like it previously.

For the steps algorithm, how could you know beforehand whether the price will go up or down and then modify your participation rate accordingly. Do you consider the historical average for n days for price to get the pattern in the similar way we do for VWAP? But there is a lot of deviation between the present day price movement and the historical average price movement for a security so it won't make much sense. Would appreciate if you could give clarity on this. Thanks, Raghavender

Does it ever happen that an eager seller just drops 10000 NQ contracts or equivalent individual stock on the market because it "wants out", without worrying about execution?
