I once found a strategy that supported this kind of entry based on low volatility on an indicator. Uptrend pullback to a key EMA (say 50) on low volatility is a long. It worked pretty well, but like all strategies I find that it's hard to pull the trigger blindly. I prefer multi-timeframe techincal anaylsis and using my discretion. All I need is to get 50% of trades right if I keep my RR at 2:1. I figure my analysis gives me a better edge than a coin-toss.
