Ukulele Ear Training Episode 1

In this lesson we're doing something a little different. We're focusing on ear training. If you've always looked up chords, used tab sheets this is a technique that is definitely worth learning.
We're starting really simple. In this lesson I play one of 3 chords: C, F or G. It's your job to work it out. You can't see my hands so you're going to need to use your ears. Don't forget to use the pause button if you need to.

What a fantastic idea! I'm gonna add this to my practice with hubby trying different chords. We've been doing some ear training by playing individual notes and trying to name them, but doing chords and playing them instead of naming them feels very immediate and natural.

I can identify all of them just by listening to the last note (A string). I will be struggle if you play another three chords ending on the same note.

I like the idea, problem I didn’t get a single right, never could hear when you moved on, after the first and you said it, to next chord so kept playing same chord, thinking it was right. Did you play each chord twice or once. Since I couldn’t hear when the change came, I have to ask. Could do it great once I had chord order memorized but never heard figured out chords from lessening..

Ukulele Go I really do want to learn to hear the chords and know what they are and play by ear. When I saw the answers I knew you played each chord once. I hope to hear the changes eventually. Probably much repetition is needed by me.
