I know people say this about a lot of different videos, but this one has really helped me get the chuck better than any other video (too many!) I've watched. Thanks! One question... I have a tough time with rhythm, so maybe I'm missing something obvious, but when you do the early G7, why skip the 1st down-strum on the next measure? It seems it goes early-SKIP-up-chuck-up-down-up-chuck-up, and it could go early-DOWN-up-chuck-up-down-up-chuck-up. Does skipping the downstrum just make for a cooler rhythm, or is there some rhythmic/theory reason for skipping? I do like the sound with the skip, but as a beginner, skipping the downstrum sort of adds to the cognitive dissonance (of the early G7 and everything else about playing ukukele). :) Thanks!

Love the quickie fun Friday tutorial. I think I am finally getting the chuck! I could have used a little more S-L-O-W time on the early G7 and what happens after that but I just keep playing the video back. I WILL get that one eventually. The short videos are easier to find the sections I need to replay. Love from Sacramento to you and yours. I look forward to the next fun Friday.
