Welcome to Ukulele School! This is the Ukulele Chord Tutorials for Beginners Video Series! In today's video, we are learning how to play F chord with the proper hand position.
In order to produce a F Major chord, we need to play notes F A and C on the ukulele. You will use your index and middle fingers in order to achieve this with proper form.
In the ukulele chord series, each video is dedicated to learning how to play one chord. In this case, the chord is F, also known as F Major.

@@BernadetteTeachesMusic Mine hurts so badly, too! I was thinking maybe I just have to get used to the pain (I've been playing for 3 weeks 2x/day). I do think the action is too high. My uke was $25 the Hal Leonard complete set. Perhaps I need to upgrade soon. I'll def have mine looked at.

@cyppy747 Have you gotten your uke looked at yet? Are you still playing? I was getting discouraged as the pain was really bad. But since I really love playing the uke, I will just upgrade... eventually.

@@JindyMarie05 how long did the pain last? I just learned to play for 2 days and every 20-30mins its getting deep lines and getting red.. I need to that so I can get the sound right. It hurts soo bad and Im assuming that that's because im a beginner.. right? Just have to get used to it? but is it also because of the strings of the ukelele or whatever?

You might not be pressing hard enough. Try readjusting the the hands and squeezing

Try moving the thumb to the back center of the neck. That should give you more space ❤️
