Cool design! I have a smaller, shorter version, the MT-73 and found it still pretty useful to stabilize hand-held video. Open the legs press them against the chest, and flip the camera to point horizontally. It looks a bit weird, but it reduces shake if you just turn your body to pan. Also it’s good for low angle video shots; just record upside down and flip in post. It’s so small that it’s easy to carry in a small bag, like your MT-44.

Hello from the Philippines! Love the video and I really liked the modification idea with the cable ties! I've been thinking how I can carry it easier and that might work for my travel next month.

Hello from New York City! Came to the same conclusion on the MT44 is the same as you. Its a really unique product in the market. Using MT44 to hold the Lumix GX1 for unattended video shooting for stage performances while keeping Lumix GH2 handheld to take still photos. It works well. By the way, do you have any recommendations on ND, graduation ND and polarizing filter system for outdoor and travel shooting that is economical, decent quality, easy to use and can fit in a small travel bag? Thank you for your informative video.

The ballhead is good enough for ZV-E10 + lens (total ~750grams-800grams)? Especially for vertical shooting. Thanks for your video

The ballhead itself is quite strong. It will still be acceptable, but the center column would start to collapse on itself due to the weight, especially on the top section where it is quite thin.

Bought this but still skeptical on my x100vi. How's the tripod so far?

Held up pretty well after a few months of weekly usage. Works fine for my cameras as long as I don't extend the upper most section of the center column.
