81 is brighter but doesn’t last as long on a single charge as a result, it also doesn’t have rgb

Tell me one thing. Why is it that if you buy 2 lights and fire them together you never get a brighter look. Technically its double the photons firing. But many pros tell you that doubling 2 lights next to each other will never give you double the light. Why so ? They say to get a brighter light with double the wattage rather than using 2 lights of half that wattage. Ex 2x 60w leds will not be as bright as a single 120w led. Is this true and why so ?

Light output will double, brightness won’t. A single 120w is brighter than 2x60w but the light output of the 2 is greater.

This is the mystery that haunted all physicists during the early 20th century. Light can destroy light to create darkness! Hence, when a pair of similar lights are illuminating an object, each of them destroys roughly half of the brightness of the other. Although, there are many factors at play, still "roughly half" is a good approximation.

Battery on a few have become a bit hit and miss but that may be because I’m not using them much these days so they tend to drain down, they all still work fine when charged up though.

It’s working fine for me so can’t say, first step would be remove and reinstall, if that doesn’t fix it then try contacting them. What phone are you using and what’s your output settings? I never used to use the KZbin upload feature previous but right now it’s the only way KZbin recognises the hdr content and tone maps correctly

i like vl81 than vl28. vl81 is for long light battery use

Most of these lights tend to have their batteries deteriorate quite quickly over time. I usually charge them all before I intend on using them and also run a few off battery packs to ensure they don’t cut out during use.
