Quite a few things to say about this one, none related to gameplay, firstly it was made 24th of march not may, though funnily enough about the still ongoing Ced is rebooting the HardTale series. The second point Id like to make is that the AU is definitely based off hardmode but deviates quite a lot in many ways, the underground itself changes and the monsters undergo massive changes design wise though behaviour wise most act mostly the same. Third point is HardTale itself hardly matters because while ULC seems to have taken the HP mechanic from the first HardTale animation the character is entirely based off Ced's parody HardTale Sans which he uses for joke videos rather than the HardTale AU Sans, I'd say my main standpoint for this argument is his moveset hardly matching his actual moveset and how 4th wall breaking his dialogue is along with the "Toast Blast" which was in Ced's meme video of "Meet Toast Sans" Also I'd like to mention you made a type by writing he loses 0.5 instead of 0.05 hp when below 110, the vanishing or exploding also being based around stamina where having no stamina simply vanishes him as a instakill while having a hp related death is a explosion. That's my rant.

Also final note, they managed to make his blasters inaccurate to HardTale somehow.

I knew a bit of this (release date was also a typo btw) as I had watched hardtale a few times before making the video, but I didn’t know the third point Mb According to the wiki, ULC’s version of hardtale is supposed to be their own AU instead of being based on the original hardtale and my attachment with hardtale doesn’t go as far as my attachment with disbelief or classic sans so I didn’t really have any issues with them forcing those noncanon reddit memes onto him. Though, reading your reply, yeah, I can kinda see why that’d be frustrating Again, mb, about the typos & stuff. Thanks for correcting me cuz I genuinely didn’t notice either of those until js now 💀 Most of my efforts with proofwatching went towards making the text readable instead od looking for typos

@@Papertoolsarenice Well typos are inevitable though they dont detract much from the main point of the video though yeah Im not a fan of the humor and how forced it is, though I find the idea of ULC doing their own AU interesting I dont feel like HardTale was the best choice for it.

I... absolutely despise this character. Now, don't get me wrong, hes certainly unique in terms of how he's supposed to he played, and could be considered a breath of fresh air when compared to other characters (Outer, SwapDust, Distrust, Ect.) My main issue with him stems from the fact that his hitboxes are some of the most wildly inconsistent in the entire game. Now, don't get me wrong, i don't have a perfect computer. I actually play on a laptop, and a rather mid one at that. This usually results in me having... less than ideal ping (100-200 ms is normal 😔) But even with all that, nobody in ULC is as much of a pain for me to play as much as HardTale is. With him being a "melee oriented character" let's call him, you can imagine needing to be close to the enemy makes for some... interesting combat. Unfortunately, i suck at it lmao. I dont know if its me having a skill issue or simply not understanding the character, but the fact that ive imposed the challenge of getting 10k exp on every character onto myself, and ive unfortunately finished with everybody up to SwapDust, the next on the list is unfortunately this brainrotting fella. To summarize; HardTale is unique in a lot of the most infuriating ways and only seems to be good when i aint the fella using him. But, we get there in the end, and the day i can stop using him cant come soon enough

Dw,cuz if you'd "git gut" on Hardtale SOMEBODY that we call Cess would call you "Op character user" Hardtale is fun to play but he REQUIRES knowledge of some combos and quick analysis of what combo you can use and what will be the best (Or if you should use it at all) Edit:I am Hardtale main and i forgor to mention counter and that it's good combo starter *explodes*

Dust Frisk, usually. Not to win but to be annoying bc dust frisk pisses people off.

For character I either go for littletale and camp for 10 years, or disbelief cause most people suck against him tbh. For weapons, if someone is really annoying I use KoffinK patience.

@@Mortimer-89 You only start damaging his hp when his stamina is below 110, above that youll just lower his stamina without damaging hp.

Twas not trying to have racism or pedophilia accusations in my comment section and if that means an empty case study then I'm absolutely willing to take that sacrifice.
