What do you think about this phone, not how easy it is to repair, how strong it is, so it shouldn't break.. Are the components good quality, is it made well?

It can take some really hard falls, if it takes a really hard one and the screen freezes, give it a minute it'll reboot but what can happen sometimes is the accelerometer and the fingerprint the sensor may disconnect, however another hard fall May reconnect them. But it might just happen to me because I have terrible luck with electronics

I have an armor pad. Despite its water resistance it has got moisture inside of it. The screen is fine but there is moisture in the rear camera. Im thinking i will remove the screen and then use dessicant to draw the moisture out. Do you suspect its construction is similar to this phone? I would like to dismantle as little as possible to avoid damage so hoping the moisture will come out of it with just removing the screen.

hey I'm back lol do you have a video to suggest how to replace the camera lense I shattered by leaving my phone on a trailer? astoundingly nothing else is wrong with the phone and the camera still works 😳

also? subscriiiiiiibed love ya content man crazy useful
@PBKreviews3 ай бұрын
Thanks. You can use a hair dryer to heat up the lens glass or cover and use an x-acto knife or razor blade to pry it off. Its held on with adhesive. But not sure if you will be able to find a replacement part for it. You may need to contact ulefone.

could you do a teardown dissasemly for ulefone power armor 18 ultra?
@Damian-v3h7o3 ай бұрын
Do you think this phone will survive filming underwater for a few minutes? I mean, water could enter the speaker, the buttons or it could go under the screen (if the screen glue is bad) and many bad things can happen. In saltwater, things only get worse if water gets inside.

If you apply water resistant glue like B-7000, it should help keep it water resistant.

Hi 👋 Need to replace the display module, but usually we have to disconnect battery first before display connector, is there some problems ? Because judging by video, we need to remove the oldest one and connect the new one and close it? Will be there any problems with voltage, will the phone live after replacement without disconnecting a battery ? Please help
@PBKreviewsАй бұрын
You don't need to worry about the battery issue. The battery cables can be disconnected first if you prefer (they are the two black ones next to the screen cable) but doesn't really matter too much. Generally to be safe, its best to disconnect the battery to avoid risk of shorting if you touch a metal tool to anything.

Very nice video but what happens after you assembly the phone again? Will it lose its water resistance and how the screen will be attached to fit perfectly? Btw I have the phone 2 months now it's a beast in every aspect!
@PBKreviews11 ай бұрын
Thanks. Yes taking it apart will lose the water resistance, unless you apply new water resistant seal/glue.
@johnnyzee38311 ай бұрын
Thanks for this video..I have the Ulefone Armor 22 and couldnt figure how to take it apart, but after watching this looks like the same procedure...which quite honestly, seems ridiculous to have to remove the screen to get at the battery for replacement. Seems like a high probability to damage the screen while getting it off. On the other hand the phone looks very rugged in its design.
@PBKreviews11 ай бұрын
You're welcome. Yeah the screen is glued down very strong, so there is a high chance of damaging the screen and the frame/housing when trying to remove it.
@GuerillaWelder4 ай бұрын
Why don't you just remove the back... All my ulefones i just removed the back, some other stuff and the screen came off that way

it's a one piece housing, there is no way to remove from the back.

I like it! So I do not have to figure out by trial and error how to open this device. The positive thing is that we should get cheap replacement parts for a while. With this other Chinese phone "designed in the USA", the iPhone it is not easy to replace parts. This is the reason why I only by Chinese phones. Mostly the camera is not so good and they have some design flaws or software issues, but they have often some advantages too.

it is a strong screen. should handle drops and hits with no problems. It's not indestructible though, if you push it to it's limit it can break.

Could you do a teardown on the Armor X12 Pro or X13? My dad is always dropping his phone. I repaired his Redmi 9A and he smashed it only a few hours later! Thinking I might get him one of these phones, don't need something particularly bulky, just durable.
