It was a pleasure and an honour to have been a part of this once great band for 8 years. Best leader, best lead tip, no dummy fluters and a bass drummer who's name still sends shivers through the Ulster band scene. Long live the U.Y.L.

It's the great 'Ulster Young Loyalists, Castle wellan', who were one of the best bands in ULSTER when they were going & their Bass Drum still thunders out across this province. NO SURRENDER.

I remember this band parading with 6 fluters one Easter Monday and a massive band behind could still hear the uyl over the top of them brilliant

The Uvf were one of only a few divisions to complete their objectives on the 1st of July. They were not given the reinforcement they so badly needed when they had breached the schwaben redoubt and where subsuquently mown down by a now awakened and strong enemy.

Those who live in Ireland, should call themselves sons and daughters of Mother Ireland, and not bow to the queen of some foreign country. The people of Ulster are a Gaelic racial mix of Irish and Scottish, we are not English, and we don't need English politicians telling us what we can and can't do. The English have no right to be in Ireland, and never had any right to be in Ireland, Tiocfaidh ar la.
