when you put a small block configuration of a Can Am engine that were all American muscle car engines but built to nelson racing engine specs as Tom nelson does in L.A.CALF. that put out 2000-2500 horsepower they sound like what they are copied from only about three times more powerful and two times faster than anything ever possibly before

Another great video gents, thank you very much. I think it's fair to say that you both did enjoy the experience despite the heat and the issues. As they say, 'that's motor sport.' It doesn't always go to plan or without any drama's? The positive is that the GTR hasn't suffered any serious damage and with the exception of the tyres, which I'll put down to fair wear and tear, having changed the wheels and tyres, I took the GTR back home via the Silverstone Classic all in one piece. Everyone had a good time, so that's a good result for all. In addition, this was only the third time I've had any issues with the GTR on track. The first being a failed coolant pressure cap and lose exhaust at Silverstone, fixed in the pits. The second, breaking a drive shaft at Goodwood during a competition Sprint - couldn't fix this one! And then what will be remembered as 'Hot Thursday' throwing the drive belt/heat related issues at Goodwood - fixed in the pits. But to be fair to Chris and his jinx, it was 'exceptionally' hot with the air temp at circa 38c and track temp probably well into the high 50's or more. Even in that heat, I was still pushing on in the GTR as I was confident that it would cope and I was there to enjoy myself too! VERY nice to see this car being drive like this. Congrats to own and drive this car as a track car, not a show car like most of guys. Most of the videos of Ultimas are very old or slow driven... I REALLY wanna see the 1020 hp version of this car on a track, but NONE down here... You know someone with this version?

That’s my old car I recognise the number plate it was ultimas own car originally. I had it probably 14 years ago.Was great fun it’s good to see it still in service

That was bas ass and I loved it. I'm in Indianapolis and some years back I sold some vantage Mopar muscle cars and was looking for a GTR but could never find one for sale. I'm 6'4" with only a 32" inseam so I'm not sure I would even fit. Do you know who built the motor for the car and what they used for heads, pistons, cam, intake and so on?

At 6'10'' I feel your pain. On the Ultima website they said they had 2 6'8'' drivers in one before...I think with the stock seats.
