Basically, how to do pirates solo; you'll notice the video is 111 minutes long, and that's not entirely the fault of my stopping to explain each step... I actually cut out most of the journey too and from the pirate, as well as most of the fight with the pirate. And your reward for this might feat of patience and pummelling? It's pathetic, to say the least! But still, this is how you can do it on your own, with descriptions of what precisely I'm doing at each stage.
If you want to see only the trickiest part of the fight, the dodging in and out to fire cannon without being hit, skip to 48 minutes in. Which I don't do very well with the first volley! But you'll see how it can be done.
The rest of the movie starts with me explaining Cannon Placement, target location and individual battle choosing; the first fight at 23 minutes in bugs out and the Pirate Ship doesn't move. Then, how any old template will do to arrest the Pirate captain, returning him, sailing for a second target, and then finally a proper fight again.

I miss UO. I played in early beta all the way to Samurai Empire without a laps in my subscription. By far all the fondest memories out of any MMORPG that I've ever played comes from this game. I had 3 "main" characters. I had my mage that I was a murderer on. I don't remember how many murder counts I had, but needless to say I could leave her logged in until the day I die and she would still be red lol. I also had my thief. This was my money maker. I had a house right off the Yew gate. On my server this is where 90% of the pvp went down. I would steal regs off of players and then put them on the vendor right outside the gate. I made a shit ton of money here. It was most fun to see the person I just stole the regs off of, go to my vendor and buy them back, then i would steal them again lol. And lastly I had my tamer. This was my dungeon crawler character. Never pvped on it. Then obviously I had my backup characters "mules". I wish that Tram and all the carebear zones never came out. Really hurt the game IMHO.

First, great video! So grateful you made it and shared it! :) I soloed when the ships first came out, then stopped playing and am very rusty (useless.) Second, I wished whilst watching that there was audio so you didn't have to type but just narrate throughout. This rates an A+. It gives me knowledge enough to get out there and have a go again. Also loved the ship on Europa, that gave the green nets. (Wish I had one!) Thanks, again.

I didn't have a microphone at the time :P They also replaced my original audio with generic, boo.... If I was making it today I would have done voice over though, yes.

If the game was more popular these days, I'd say re-cut the audio. But yeah, that'd be a lot of work for a 2 yr old video :P
