​@treyjohnson1728 I am answering a little bit late but I have an S23U for quite a bit, and I can say that if you get 11hrs by yt and fb it's pretty good, then it depends if you use a high brightness or not, if you are always connected to mobile data or wifi, how you manage your phone, if you keep position, Bluetooth and other things always on, or even background processes, those can make a big difference too, but I one day used mine for like 10.45hrs and I still had % remaining, and I even used mobile data for like 3hrs, like ⅓ of the time I had the brightness at max, even if it's not really helping and I wrote kinda a lot I hope that at least a bit I could help you with telling this

What realistic? Who use phones in room temperature or inside ac?? Or if we are in room who cares about charge? Drain test must be carried outside. Then phone will heat up and can find the real winner

​@@abhishekn9871charging time on the regular S23 is fine. first of all I don't even really let my regular s23 get down to like 20% or lower but when it's at 40% I put it on the charger within about good 15 to 20 minutes is up to like 90%. To be honest with you I don't really see the difference in the charging speeds between my black Samsung s23 plus and my regular s23, but neither of them can hold a candle to my OnePlus 9 5G with it's 65 watt charger

This is the most interesting battery drain test i have ever seen, and i would never have expected the s23+ to perform better than the ultra, so this makes it even more stunning.😮to be honest the a54 performed much better than expected, although it is logical because it has a bigger battery than lets say the s23 and a weaker processor but its still crazy. Interesting test. I have S23+ and I'm super happy with its performance and battery. lasts up to a day and a half of normal usage (for me). But I have to give kudos to s23 as a small compact phone with 800mAh less and could still follow up with the big battery guys. Good job samsung. the best Galaxy S we've seen in last few years.

I got the 23 plus. Absolutely love it. I’ve been told it can last so long with the 1080p display vs the Ultras larger QHD display. Do you have any thoughts on how the 23 plus can last so long? I find a full days use leaves me with 70/60% battery at night, the super fast charge shoots it right back up to 100% in less than 20 mins but I have the battery saver at 85% until 8am so it charges in no time.

I got the S23 Ultra 1 Terabyte and i'm not gonna lie I kinda miss the base model. The S9 was my first flagship and I miss its cute and smol size. But there I go getting the Ultra for wanting to go big or home 😂 The plus size model may be in between but its definetely not as thick like the ultra.

I upgraded to S23 Ultra cause I unfortunately got an overheating Snapdragon S22 with sucky battery life. But if I'm on a budget, I'd definitely go for the smaller base model S23!

I'd recommend using a lux meter to put all phones on equal brightness, because phones with higher peak brightness would suffer more with a percentage test. Also, putting same wallpaper would be more fair because AMOLED.

which version of s23 ? if you use 128gb its wrong test cuz storage is ufs3.1 and 256gb is 4.0 use less battery.

For me it is better to use same wallpaper at the begining of testing since all of them is using the oled screen which we all already know that black wallpaper can save a lot of battery since black pixel doesn't required lot of power than brightly pixel.

@@vvv1227 I had my phone 91% charged on at 9AM Then went out and with 5G on I was listening to music via Bluetooth, taking 50MP pictures and 4K videos on streets of London and Hyde Park, video calling with my friends and working with phone outdoors. It lasted till 8 PM and I couldn't find a USB type c to recharge it 😂 It's pretty impressive However it would be even more impressive of we can have phones in the future which can last a full day outdoors (5G,calls, video and image etc.) That would be excellent if you do test with 5g instead of WiFi anyway. It will give more insights to the users which spend most of their times outside.

I really appreciate you taking the time to push the displays and doing tests. A tip, there are small machines that can like dot a pencil rubber on the screen every 5 minutes. So you dont have to be tortured...i have noticed that there are no idle tests until drained on YT, that could be a cool nische for your channel.

like real world usage will be if u made them use cellular data along with blutooth and location turned on then consuming media or shooting videos or photos with max brightness as this might simulate the outdoor experience. plus wud be nice if we knew whether the s23 ultra was at QHD or not as it wont be fair for the s23ultra. another is it wouldn't be fair for the other phones especially on stand by mode on home screen or on any other static picutes/frames as the s23 ultra has the advantage of refresh rate from 1-120. thus using a video with 120fps or continuous scrolling on the social medias might have been good . but this test gives a good idea for home consumption of this devices tnx mate

Samsung has intentionally put a very smaller battery in the base S23, they cud have easily accommodated 4200-4300mah battery in this much size phone. They are just keeping this size of battery for their next year iteration i believe.

The SoC is inefficient. It's good battery when solely looking at time it lasts, but remember the S23 was way faster while doing all of this, had a way smaller battery, and still matched the A54. Inefficient chip from Samsung.

My A54 in screen standby drained battery a lot. 8 minutes with 50% brightness on WIFI when doing nothing (60hz). I changed my phone to a Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro and I got 1% battery drain in 7 minutes when using Facebook with 60hz. My A54 i think it had problems with battery
