I would have to admit my previous FAA Private License training kicked in when I lost power and I remembered to pick a spot to land, maintain level wings and airspeed, and "DON"T PANIC!!!!! Thanks for the comment.

Yep, and we walked away from the crash which means it was a GOOD landing!

I'm not into 3D but the plane looks like it would also make for some fun sports flying.

It makes for the perfect sports plane...tough as nails. The only problem I found is the inside lock nut on the wheel fairing comes loose and the wheel falls off. HH sent me a replacement landing gear and I applied epoxy to the new one.

I don't know how that works, but I'll have to try it sometime. (By the way, I hate dinging up my models. There's just too much room for "pilot error" looming around.)
