Ultimate Adventure 2022 Ep 4: Way-Out Wheelin at Windrock Park | MotorTrend

On Day 5, the UA crew didn't have to go far before hitting the trail for the day. Windrock Park not only has tent camping sites, but cabins, hot showers, and RV hookups as well. Windrock also has 73,000 acres of trails, making it the largest private OHV park in the country.
The attendees of UA just scratched the surface of the 300 miles of trails that Windrock has to offer, starting on Trail 39 (Cadillac Hill) and then hitting Trail 40 before the sun started setting. Back at camp, Ken Smith treated everyone to fajitas for dinner, and tires were aired up and vehicles inspected for damage in anticipation of another long road day on Day 6. Ultimate Adventure has a reputation of saving the best for last, and everyone is anxious to see what is in store next for Ultimate Adventure 2022.of the prison, the group made its way to nearby Oliver Springs to camp at Windrock Park. A low country boil dinner was provided courtesy of Skyjacker and cooked by past UA participant Travis Farmer. With full stomachs, everyone set up camp for the night, excited to explore what Windrock has to offer on Day 5 of the Ultimate Adventure.

When it was available on YT I followed along until they moved to the private platform. Sad to know that such a good show got to an end. Was awesome to see Fred and Dave and laugh along with all the shenanigans. Pink Bigfoot will be missed.

I still can't believe dirt everyday is no longer that was the best show ever I loved watching the crazy builds y'all did just most random with stuff normal people could do. Rest of shows are good but nothing can beat fredd and Dave with hand tools building a car. Y'all showed all us what a non mechanic could actually build and showed us to how to. Tech tip: to make the tread chaser from any bolt cut 3 slices Into the bolt in the shape of a peace sign or Mercedes’ Benz logo and chase those threads !

Mr. Warn of Warn winches lived in the area where I live. I had to service his Ice Maker in his trophy room off his pool. The coolest geodesic building with all his African trophys....the room was floored with African hardwood, the most beautiful thing you ever saw. It was up until my reinstall of the Ice Maker I repaired. I missed the drain for the thing with the hose and it leaked all over that wonderful imported African wood. I was invited back so that i could see the damage...I have to say he and his wife were good about it. After showing me the sea of warped wood, he closed the door and politely told me to leave and never return...also he still had a whole pile of wood to replace it. That was earlier in my career...but one of those things you take to your grave as a bad memory. I do have to say that the Warns are real nice people and very lay back for being extremely rich living off a river in the most beautiful home. It really broke my heart I did that to them as I really enjoyed visiting and despite them having so much money...they were such nice people I always gave them discounts on service. I never got the chance to give Mr. and Mrs. Warn my sincere apology...the whole event was so devastating and caught me by surprise, I was speechless. If they build products that reflect their personality it must be the best....I am sure he does.

I own a 2001 TJ and a 2022 Tacoma 4x4 but neither of those brands are my favorite on this UA. The 712 is my favorite of them all as its just awesome. The International is the next just because of how great it looks and runs. Third and fourth place would have to be the FJ40 and that ridiculous green monster van with the wildman behind the wheel.

I generally wear my seat belt. If you can't stay in the seat it's hard to drive. That said, many trails at Wind Rock are so rough that you couldn't pay me enough to be strapped to a vehicle. Flipping a half mile down a mountain and landing at the campground doesn't seem like much fun.
