You have definitely scored with the weather in November for Turkey. You are having an impact on my future thoughts to be sure. Turkey wasn't ever on the radar. There are intriguing places that you have gone and it makes me think about getting there. I have to admit that the early Carrie voiceover was not as relaxed and inviting as her comments with Brian in front of the camera. I am very glad to hear that Brian (like a Lannister) always pays his debts, especially in beer! Looking ahead to Europe in 2024, with the Euro soccer championships and then Olympics it will be a very busy (and expensive time) in Western Europe. Safe travels. Enjoy your cruise ahead!!!

Great vlog/video!!! I've put Antalya on my list. It's unfortunate that when in Turkey, I only had time to stay in Istanbul. I really do hope to return. Your neighborhood looks very peaceful. The main places for cultural tourism in Antalya are various parts of Antalya's coastline, which extends from Kaş in the west to Gazipaşa in the east. There are dozens of ancient cities, historical buildings, historical mosques and churches in this region. Sea tourism in Antalya is also carried out along the coastline. Along with coastal tourism, sea tours can also be done in this region. The most well-known spots of sea tourism are Cleopatra, Konyaaltı and Lara beaches. In terms of sports tourism, Antalya is a province that hosts popular sports. Hundreds of athletes and teams, especially football, tennis and golf, choose Antalya every year. Antalya not only has the facilities for these sports, but also hosts seminars given to athletes and officials. Greetings, I wish you a good day..!🙂

Another great video! Thanks! Unfortunately, there is a new law in Turkey - which you may alredy be aware of - that pretty much may wipe out Airbnb stays. We're about to go to instanbul, Cappadocia and Antalya beginning the end of March. Found some nice and affordable Airbnbs. While they are still listed on Airbnb, the first we tried to book said they couldn't do it and may not do it any more due to the new law. For Short Term Rentals under 100 days Turkey passed a new law effective Jan 1, 2024, that requires things: a permit is needed, a sign must be on the door, they must report passports and visas like hotels and if in a multi-unit building EVERYONE must agree to having short term rentals! The fine for violatiing the new law is about $3,000. There are lots of details online. Getting everyone to agree may be the toughest thing. If you plan on booking an Airbnb or already have one booked, you probably should confirm it and ask about how the new law may affect your booking.

The Gopro has been great for us. Especially with the way we pack. It does have it's limitations in dark settings. The zoom feature is also something that we avoid. The more you zoom in the more grainy the image becomes. We shoot in 1080p so maybe in 4k that wouldn't be a problem. But for everyday conditions we love the low profile and durability the Gopro offers. Thank you for watching and safe travels!! Cheers!

Thanks for the info. Yes, I did more research and that is the word across the board. After all of my research, I just ordered the Insta360 Ace Pro as it , supposedly, beats Gopro and DJI Action 4 in these categories and others. Just a warning - avoid Antalya in the summer, even those who like high temperatures will do very badly, the problem is with excessive humidity. And I saw, in summer, at the hottest time of the day, the asphalt on the road was melting. And by the way, if you plan to return to Istanbul, be sure to visit the banks of the Bosphorus. Go to Bebek, and Arnavutköy, where there are a series of fish restaurants on the banks of the strait (it's not a river)

Hi. Was it this area that had the big earthquake? Wondering if is a safe area to visit again? Not sure when you were there
@BrianandCarrie11 ай бұрын
We just left and Turkey is very safe. The area that had the earthquake was in the far east. Thank you for watching. Cheers!
