FYI: the treatment for wood was restricted in 2004 so you really should not be installing MCA-treated wood in-ground as that should be out-of-date. Ideally you should be using CCA-wood which is sold as round fence posts at farm stores. In my climate MCA wood in-ground will be rotted in 6-10 years. On your next fence... With CCA farm fence you would purchase 10ft poles & not use concrete b/c you would burry them 3ft or deeper, it seems like more work but it isn't. MCA is copper & CCA is arsenic, one tablespoon of CCA ash is deadly if ingested but the wood with that treatment will last over 15 years in the dirt.
