ive played apex with controller occasionally, never really changing settings, but after finally getting one to play on pc, this video was helpful. just wanted you to know that i tried the evolved layout and was actually surprised how good it felt to jump and crouch with it, it feels really nice, so thanks for sharing. takes a bit to get used to using the tactical by clicking A but its not too bad. great video!

I'm 33. Yeah, I absolutely can tell I'm slower with some things but not a "big" way. Hardest thing for me is my attention span to play more than 3 or so hours. I have a hard time seeing things I feel like as well

@@TimProVision yeah thats a pretty interesting point actually... 39 yrs here. I have also noticed its a bit harder to stay locked in after a a bunch of matches.

Instead of running ‘Evolved’ and swapping your Jump & Tactical, I found it a lot easier to just swap Jump(X) and Ping(RB) since a lot of the tactical abilities need precise aim to be as effective as possible (I’m also a Pathy main). When I tried Evolved I also noticed that having jump on the left side of my controller would throw me off, so keeping it on the right side as RB made the adjustment super quick and now I couldn’t imagine playing any other way🤷🏻‍♂️ Cannot wait for my HYPR FPS Pro Controller to come in, but this is working out great in the mean time! Try it out!🤘🏼

I play on controller. Shoot &aim top triggers. Bottom left crouch. Right stick is tactical jump. Paddles jump and crouch.

Imo the bigger thing for mnk is scroll wheel to forward. This will open up a whole new level of movement techs that are actually useful for juking enemies and getting around corners faster. It's also pretty much the big thing that gives mnk an advantage over roller.

Probably not this season. The meta hasn't changed too much. Only big changes in my head would be ranking catalyst higher for ranked.

Ninja binds are so slept on. That single handedly carried me from Silver to Plat Solo queue easy. Hold to crouch is a bit tedious imo but i do see its benefits. I cant get used to hold to crouch anymore 😭

When I activate “Custom Vision Controls” the game does not allow me to use some of the initial settings for control, how can I solve this? Is it because I play on the console?

tips for hold crouch players, if your ratting and need to stay crouched, quickly change your crouch to toggle then crouch and switch back to hold and your character will stay crouched unless your sprint

I have crouch with r1 (RB) and jump with l1 (LB] I have no paddles so I don’t have to move my fingers to X and o because stock its very hard is that ok?
