Wish I could afford your cookbook so I could have your recipe for this. I'm disabled on a very limited income I have been through so much since the 1st of December I broke my knee then Christmas eve I had a syncope spell was standing in my kitchen everything went black next thing I knew I was on the floor with a twisted up wrist knew it was broken crushed one bone and cracked it below the crushed bones were in about 8 pieces. Spent 2 days in the hospital went to rehab until New years day then home health has everyone coming out because around Thanksgiving my right hand started going numb found out have nerve damage knew I had it on the back of my hand but now my thumb and pointer fingers are completely numb no feeling at all and so are the tips of my other fingers and now my palm isn't feeling anything except burning pain so are my fingers. When you can't use your left hand at all and your right doesn't work it's quite hard to do anything. I am able to get dressed now by myself and my kids have helped tremendously fixing things so I can eat food with built up utensils and they have my milk and water in jugs so I lift a lever and able to get a drink then I grab my glass sit it next to the fridge and get a drink. Also have a big bottle with a big straw in the living room. Been so hard but I'm a fighter won't let this get me down especially since my back is in the shape of the letter C now and my neck is messed up my chin sits on my chest it's from rheumatoid arthritis and I had 8 vertebrae where my spinal cord was compressed they put rods in my spine and neck. Started having back issues when I was 11. I'm 65 now. They said I wouldn't be walking would be in a wheelchair by the time I was 40. Still fighting. I spent 3 weeks in one when I broke my knee had just gotten approval to walk with a brace when I fractured my wrist. Can't get a break 😪 well the wrong breaks that is. Happy New Year looking forward to new recipes this year.
