Mike, Richard here. I received your ultimate brush making machine today and It is GREAT. I made several really nice brushes right away and had fun doing so. It is a well designed, solidly built masterpiece. Thanks for the efforts bringing it to market.

Hi Mike, I've enjoyed watching you evolution of the Ultimate Brush Maker. I noticed in this video that you're using 316L SS wire. Are you still making brushes using polyester thread?
@FrugalFlyRodder Жыл бұрын
I stopped using thread for now. These new machines don't have a reverse switch, which allowed the machine to let up the pressure to the thread so they wouldn't coil too badly.

@@FrugalFlyRodder Do you like wireless brushes enough to consider incorporating a reversing switch into you machine?

Flat wire springs, constant tension. Limited linear progression
@FrugalFlyRodder Жыл бұрын
A coiled flat wire is way too expensive for any gain that "may" be achieved through compression. There is a place for an accurate and typically high temp flat wire spring, but this is not one of them. If the springs I used in the design of this machine wear out, they are easily replaced through the springs cover doors, and that would take a very long time.
