@jussay If it was rigged he'd win every year don't you think. He won because he did the best burnout in the finals. Ten cars make it into the final, he certainly made the effort to do that, then when you account for the four cars that had some kind of problem in the final he was only up against six other cars.

This practice has spawned an image on the streets where it's cool to mount plain rims on the rear and ghastly alloys on the front. It's sorta like a red flag for police and a signal for local citizens that a troglodyte is on the loose.
