The problem with soldering is heat. Good if your not running thing hot. But as soon as it get hot it melts. That’s why crimping is way better. No chance of fire.

How much heat are you referring to? The melting point of the solder I use is 175-185 Degrees Celsius. I would definitely be concerned it was to get that hot 🥵

@@hititoffroad4545 Run your toaster and boil the eggs at the same time. 250amps running for 5 minutes. Get a laser pointer heat thing. Check.

@@AlwaysSearching.. I run a large jackhammer off it for work, air con in the caravan(when off grid), plus a bunch of other stuff and it’s never let me down. I used circuit breakers initially, for electrical protection, but they trip too early. Midi and Maxi fuses are the best option
