Only piece of 'negative' feedback I have: In the macro section you sorta realize a bit in that there's some unnecessary fluff because you go over macro's you don't have to show. so you just start skipping a few macro's here and there BUT in the end you pmuch skip everything or barely get to explain why you use the macro because of your hurry. you said yourself its unscripted so fair's fair but I just wanted to mention it ^^ This video is packed DENSELY with good info, good job!

Big huge Below some thoughts for future vids. I'm tryhard rogue player myself but video is 11/10, wish it was out earlier. Of course there are many more topics to cover(welcome to the rabbit hole) like openers, trinket choices against different classes (Hunter and mage most important, stacking absorb vs warriors), niche builds (I think you should really explain to ppl what different levels of dirty deeds allow you to do) and gearing early phases (like -armor build with solo farmable lbrs mace, or imp poison 4/5 (1,3 oh instant poison)+ deadliness 5/5 for max damage as orc. I was in blue gear and was one shotting p5 geared warriors with this build (shadow craft devilsaur, krol blade = 1000 AP as orc, insane poison and SC procs). Or bis orc open world PvP build : 5pc T1, renataki cb daggers in p4. Also gold farms(level a mage lol) and getting into groups as rogue is important. Also random tricks like always carrying a stack of each protection potion to have extra option of prepotting it in wpvp, having full riding set, trinket combinations : like chicken + dragonling vs hunters, still using ez dinamite, flashbang, disc Ray (op) and boots as non engineering rogue. Vanish + res trinket swap macro etc

Pro tip: get miks scrolling battle text to play a sound when somebody death coils/scattershots/pyroblast/etc. on YOU so you can react and vanish it without even seeing it. This means you can now vanish death coils from behind, without even seeing them. Now THAT is some 10,000 year old flow state monk shit right there.

1st of all, what is the addon called where u see the exact amount of enemy health? because i just see % health^^ 2nd of all, ur telling me that a slow main hand is prefered but if i equip for example a sword in the main hand then i cant use backstab as it requires a dagger if im not mistaken^^ dont u use backstab during lvling? Would rly appreciate an answer as im a rouge noob but wanted to roll with it as gnome xD

I rolled an orc rogue, and I want to do a lot of wpvp while leveling. Everyone insists I take mining/engi for the bombs, but I've done engi in the past and didn't get that much use out of bombs at lower levels. Would it be a bad idea to go herb/alch at least until lvl~50 so I get free potions for open world PVP? I'm a very casual player and it will take me months to get to 60.

I am new to classic and rogue. Having hard times with professions. So, you have eng/mining, and the I guess you farm all the mats for BS, and then drop mining for BS? Cause you do wanna keep eng. right? So you end up with eng/bs? And then need to buy mats for eng later from aH? Is that the play? Is this count for normal wow classic aswell?

I think Dwarf should be in the discussion. its pretty amazing race with stoneskin as a rogue, so many times u cant vanish becouse of serpent sting , bleed and rogue poisens.. IMO its OP

Hey perp, i noticed there is the gnomeregan head in your items todo list thing. I played warrior and loved the item on it on classic but i find my self not using it much since my brain too small to figure good uses for it. So my question is can you tell some practical uses for that item on pvp and pve scenarios, would love to hear what big vanilla brain pov on that item. My favorite thing was snipe all the mini skeletons after ramstain in stratholme just for the show :D

What's the rationale for stacking agi and crit for backstab? You already get a significant chunk of crit off from your talents with backstab meaning AP should be more valuable. Granted, you do not have Cold Blood to rely on for Eviscerate crits but fairly often you end up spending your combo points on Kidney Shot anyway. Or are we strictly talking WSG here?

New rogue here, the vanish sap macro, do you also have vanish extra binded when needed in stealth ? And prob i cant Spam this macro in stealth, but i see you are using a gouge sap macro too when stealthed ?

hey man, yeah you want an extra vanish bind for when you're in stealth to prevanish. I have gouge/sap on 5, it uses sap when in stealth and gouge when out of stealth, and gouge on a separate ctrl 5 bind if I wanna open gouge

iirc backstab does scale with weapon damage so i'd imagine the +5 dmg is BiS for dagger on your MH

@@4kMattyJ after some calculations i have done over the years, +5 dmg seems to be scaling better the earlier the phase of the game it is and also the lower the level. It is also scaling better when ambushing rather than backstabing. As of phase 6 with T3, dual 15 agi seem to be more valuable ,since crit and ap is more important and Kingsfall has enough top end dmg itself. I would love Perp's opinion on the subject.

@@4kMattyJ So, according to what I typed above, I'd choose +5 dmg on MH dagger improve sprint build, before phase 6 or even 5, especially if you love to gank outdoors and even better vs mages / clothers. In bgs or with dagger/cold blood spec, I'd see dual agility being better overall.

+5 damage is definitely best for your main hand early. The absolute value of the enchant also stays the same throughout the game (5 damage is 5 damage) but the % increase in damage will go down over time. The absolute value of +15 agi however will get bigger as you get more AP, because of the bonus critrating it gives. But it's gonna be a very marginal difference even in naxx gear. If it's worth anything: for pve, +5 damage main hand simmed quite a lot better than +15 agi main hand in all phases of classic.

Perp, if I want to min max and get the best possible pvp time as a rogue, should I horde to avoid orcs? Tons of people tell me that despite how annoying paladins and stoneform is, stun resist is just way too annoying to deal with, especially if you play hemo swords. Thank you !

the beauty of classic is that there are so many ways to play around the rng. when it comes to faction choice its pretty simple, if you have some mates to play with play with them, if not play whatever you feel you will enjoy most -you called the difference pretty good yourself, you wanna deal with pala's and stoneform or stunresist rng?
